Isaac Jeffrey Hobbs was born to Melinda Jane Hobbs (Freeman) and Jeffrey Bruce Hobbs at 7:31pm on Monday 20th of May, 2002 at Mitcham Private Hospital. Melinda and Jeff would like to thank our family, friends and work colleagues for their continual support through the ups and downs of the journey which has led to Isaac appearing in our midst. Without you all we may not have had the guts to get to where we did. We would like to thank Dr Bronwyn Eldridge for her unceasing dedication - especially in a world where the work of an obstetrician is risky and often thankless. Gill Stannard, a great natropath, gave us the hope and the herbs to keep going when often all seemed against us. Her moral support and her wisdom is beyond price. All the staff at Mitcham Private Hospital who seemed to make our day of delivery one which made us and our baby seem so important. Special thanks to the nursing staff for the hours of work they gave to, and continue to give to, us. Melinda would especially like to thank that nice man with the epidural needles and who, in between checking on the health of the baby and mother during the cesarean, managed to snap some great pictures. The first two pictures on the picture page were taken by him. Finally we would like to thank Peanut who decided to join us a little early and who will, we hope, bring us happiness, challenges, tears and joy as his life as Isaac unfolds.
